Welcome to the Update Log. This section lists all past updates,
because there was getting to be too much stuff on the main
page.
The first of many major summer updates are upon us. As information
is (gradually) given to me by Mr. G, updates will ensue. This
update adds a list of the 2001-2002 Drum Major / Section Leader
/ Band Officer list, and also the summer schedule. Please try
and make all of the rehearsals that you can.
Finally, an update. I haven't updated this site in a while,
merely because there really hasn't been too much to report.
The band has split into two different bands, the Concert
Band and the Wind Symphony. Lessons are different beginning
in the 3rd Quarter, so make sure you know your new lesson
period.
In other news, I finally got a copy of our Spartacus
Performance at Giants Stadium, 1999. Download it
here, at the Media page.
If anyone has (or is getting) a CD from Scranton, please
email me.
Thats all for now.
Congratulations! The Blue Devils recieved a score of 88.1 at
the Group 5 Open Championships at Scranton. We also recieved
the coveted Espirit de Corps Award, which is given by the
US Marine Corps to the band that most exemplifies the Marines'
ideals of courage, patriotism, and dedication. Pictures from
the event can be found
on the Media Page.
New Pictures! Mike Mohlenhoff was running around at halftime
of todays football game taking pictures. We have about 20,
so enjoy. Find them
here.
On Sunday (10/29)at the Elwood - John Glenn HS competition,
the Blue Devils placed first in Division 5, with a score
of 90.3. Excellent, Blue Devils. Pictures from the
competition can be found
here.
